Krockkuddarna kan kopplas ur på Volvo S60, V60, V70, XC70, S80 och XC60. 100 000 bilar av årsmodell 2012 ska nu återkallas.
En kabel under passagerarstolen kan dras lös när stolen skjuts framåt eller bakåt. Om så inträffar tänds en varningslampa och i värsta fall riskerar krockkuddarna på passagerarsidan att inte utlösas vid en kollision.
Bilarna som berörs – S60, V60, V70, XC70, S80 och XC60 – är tillverkade under 2011 mellan vecka 20 och 40. Samtliga av årsmodell 2012. Totalt omfattas 100 000 bilar som sålts över hela världen.
Enligt Volvo har omkring 20 bilägare kontaktat verkstad på grund av de tända varningslamporna. Inga personskador har däremot rapporterats.
