Steve Mattin lämnade posten som designchef på Volvo i början av 2009. Nu ska britten ta sig an formgivningen hos ryska Lada.
2005 värvades Steve Mattin till Volvo efter 17 år på Mercedes designavdelning. Innan han lämnade den svenska tillverkaren 2009 hann han rita nuvarande XC60, S60 och V60.
Tidigare i september avslöjades att 47-åriga Mattin fått ett nytt uppdrag. Från den 1 oktober tar han över som designchef för ryska Lada.
Lada har i dag ett föråldrat modellprogram, men satsar på att ta fram sju nya modeller under de tre närmaste åren. I det arbetet kommer Mattin att spela en viktig roll.

Det är ju först sedan han lämnat Volvo som formspråket börjat röra sig sedan 90-talets Volvo ECC....
