Historien om den brittiska biltillverkaren Rolls-Royce ska berättas på vita duken. Regisserar gör ingen mindre än Martin Scorsese.
Martin Scorsese – den amerikanske stjärnregissören som bland annat ligger bakom Taxi Driver, Tjuren från Bronx och Maffiabröder – arbetar på en ny film om ett av bilvärldens kanske mest klassiska märken, Rolls-Royce.
Filmen får titeln ”Silver Ghost”, döpt efter bilmodellen med samma namn som tillverkades mellan 1907 och 1926. Manuset uppges kretsa kring grundarna Charles Rolls och Henry Royce samt historien bakom kylarprydnaden ”Spirit of Ecstacy”.
Än så länge har filmbolaget inte tillkännagivit några skådespelare. Inte heller något premiärdatum är officiellt, men i förhandsspekulationerna pratas det om 2013.
