Branschorganisationen Bil Sweden presenterade på torsdagen att 20 735 nya personbilar registrerades under februari, en minskning med 1,2 procent.
– En ökad oro på arbetsmarknaden med fler varsel har gjort att privatpersoner har blivit lite försiktigare med sina bilinköp, samtidigt som företagsmarknaden är stabil och ökade sin andel till nästan 68 procent av nybilsmarknaden i februari, säger Bertil Moldén, vd Bil Sweden, som menar att samma mönster kan urskiljas i flera andra europeiska länder.
Hittills har 39 421 nya personbilar registrerades i år, det är 2,0 procent färre jämfört med samma period förra året. Bil Swedens prognos om 270 000 registrerade bilar för helåret 2012 står däremot fast, säger Bertil Moldén.
Andelen dieseldrivna bilar bland nyregistreringarna slog nytt rekord i februari. Dieselbilarna stod för hela 68,9 procent av försäljningen, vilket kan jämföras med 62,0 procent under februari förra året och 35,6 procent i februari 2008.
